Is it better to use fragrance free body wash?
For sensitive or reactive skin, yes. Fragrance is one of the most common causes of contact irritation in personal care. A fragrance free wash removes that variable entirely. SoPure® Sensitive Skin Body Wash is fragrance free and pH 5.5, so it cleans without leaving skin tight or itchy.
Why does my skin feel tight after a shower?
Usually the pH. Healthy skin sits at about 4.5 to 5.5, while many conventional body washes sit around 9 to 10. That gap strips the acid mantle and leaves skin tight and dry. SoPure® Sensitive Skin Body Wash is built at pH 5.5 to match skin instead of fighting it.
What body wash has no scent?
A fragrance free body wash is the one with no added scent at all. Watch the wording. Unscented often means a masking fragrance was added to cover the smell of the base. That masking fragrance can still irritate. SoPure® Sensitive Skin Body Wash adds neither, so there is no scent and no mask.
Is a regular supermarket body wash genuinely unscented?
Often not. On a mainstream label, unscented usually means a masking fragrance was added to neutralise the smell of the base. It does not mean no fragrance at all. Fragrance free is the stricter term. SoPure® Sensitive Skin Body Wash is fragrance free, with no perfume and no masking agent.
Should I avoid parabens in skincare?
That is a personal call. Parabens are permitted preservatives at restricted concentrations, and regulators consider them safe at those levels. Many people still prefer to avoid them. SoPure® leaves parabens out by choice, along with sulphates, petrochemicals and synthetic dyes. It preserves with sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate instead.
